I'm a fan of the silly, the detailed, the poignant and the macabre. I love lines, ink-ridden and complex. But lines that tell a story, communicate and make you giggle, the peculiar scribble that can provoke or touch.... I favour these most of all. I like to capture snippets of this strange adventure we are wayfaring through. I'm quick, creative and entirely involved. Though I predominantly draw in ink, I use a range of mediums and enjoy that versatility.
I worked as a product and packaging designer for a good while, learning all kinds of useful bits and bobs, stressing about deadlines and eating too many biscuits. Then I jumped ship and ended up on a boat, via a shipping container........
I am currently living in Oxford aboard an old canal butty, which is also my studio. I have worked as a freelance illustrator since 2011 covering a variety of projects, with a huge interest in local and community-based ventures. Some of these projects include book covers and content illustrations, album covers and merchandise, posters, labels, startup branding and logo designs, murals, apparel, storyboards, movie concepts, tattoo designs and private commissions.
I'm super good at replying to any questions and I'd be delighted to work on your project, however big or small!
