A special commission for Sobell House Hospice, this was a large acrylic painting to be hung on the wall of their newly refurbished Family Room. The elements in this piece were all very personal to a family who had experienced time in this space, a crucial area of the hospice, with loved ones. They became instrumental in helping to fund and raise awareness of the Family Room Appeal. We wanted an illustrative and ethereal quality to the piece, which I hopefully captured in the style and palette.
