Open Boat Day
Brand/Map/illustration for ‘Open Boat Day’, an annual event and part of Wytham and Wolvercote Midsummer festival in Oxfordshire. The premise is to encourage the public to visit canal dwelling folk like myself and have a peek into our lives. We open our boats, pop the kettle on, and literally show people the ropes. I have begun a tradition of exhibiting artwork aboard my boat and selling originals and prints along with tote bags I have designed. I developed the branding and maps for the event which we use to promote it and share our lifestyle.
