Logo design /illustration for poster/T-shirts. Sam wanted some fitting merch to take on his tours, and by ‘fitting’, I mean relevant to the lifestyle he was living. The Sat Nav Sam tour in Western Australia boasted coral reef galore and times of travel and questionable direction, so the Sailor Jerry style T-shirt design was born. The Born to Tour skeleton is a throwback to Sam’s cycle touring days, as well as his love of folky, bluesy punk stuff. And the Merbus logo….it’s open to interpretation. Half mermaid, half bus, or something. Anyway, always fun creating bonkers things.
