Stone siren

Illustration/logo design for Myth Metallers ‘Stone Siren. They wanted ‘outer space’ and ‘Greek mythology’, so I was happy to oblige…..I’ve had a fondness for Medusa since air was a child so this brief was perfect. A cyborg gorgon shooting lasers from scorned eyes manifested itself. Next on the agenda was ‘we are into Mongolian death worm stories right now’, and so I indulged in a Beetlejuice-esque depiction of a creature writhing through the socket of humen remains as they glistened in ‘man in the moon light’ in the desert. It’s a good thing these guys love weird stuff and I adore drawing it.
