ART BLOG gubbins
A creative passion project which explores my illustration, music, and storytelling endeavours viewed through the cocked-eye of an artist with a compulsion to make. If you favour dystopian sci-fi, dark folktales, the sprinkling of a stale and nostalgic custard cream, and lashings of icy synths mixed in for good measure, I update when I can depending on workload, to be accountable to myself and to share, no matter how half baked my ideas are. I dive into the realms of dark art, surrealism and fantasy. From fine art to low brow, and time lapse animation to tarot, this is a documenting of my passion projects. It’s me at my most raw and creative, making stuff for myself and for fun, waffling about my influences and my techniques. Sometimes it’s the bare bones of a sketch, and other times it is a needlessly long process video.
